STATUTORY COMPLIANCE REVIEW - NHS
With this project, I helped my client with a statutory compliance review including a full audit of all supplier paperwork and certification, supplier contracts review and assessment of planned preventative maintenance activity. I was able to present a confirmed position on compliance status for boilers, pressure vessels, fire systems, water hygiene and electrical systems. I then gave each asset a unique ID and recreated a full 12 month maintenance planner and retrained the inhouse team on the new processes and system.
INTERIM HEAD OF FACILITIES MANAGEMENT ROLES - DISTRIBUTION, RESEARCH FACILITY AND STORAGE
Appointing an Interim is a great opportunity to get operational knowledge and expertise in to support an existing team. In these roles I have managed the Covid-19 risk and control procedures , undertaken FM contract reviews , restored all PPM and maintenance records and implemented short term cost reduction plans reducing £5m Facilities budget by 50k in 4 months. I have restructured Facilities Teams leading on objective setting and recruitment of key roles. I have undertaken maturity assessments, produced a gap analysis and issued a 6-month customer experience focused recovery and local organisational change plans. I have documented statutory compliance processes, undertaken stakeholder engagement exercises, aligned business unit and FM strategy and produced life cycle and capital investment plans.


SOFT SERVICES RE-TENDER EXERCISES - RAIL & BUS
Reviewing and transforming soft services is an exciting an often overlooked area. For these Clients I reviewed current and required service levels, re-designed cleaning labour models, implemented new cleaning flows, created all quality procedures and risk assessments and implemented new supplier deals on equipment, chemicals and materials. On the Customer Services side I implemented a new output specification focusing on Customer interaction and service delivery.
RISK ASSESSMENT AND ACTION PLANNING - PUBS, HEALTHCARE FACILITIES & OFFICES
In the consulting industry, each business is unique and requires a specific set of solutions for health & safety, risk management and business continuity. For these projects, I helped small local businesses with their Covid-19 risk assessments and social distancing plans. I created building and office risk assessments and audited fire risk assessment compliance. I have helped Clients understand what their risk profile is and how to implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
